Summit Homes Partners with Children’s Mercy

The Home for Little Heroes is a unique partnership with Summit Homes and their trade partners who donated labor, materials and services to build an exceptional home. One hundred percent of the proceeds were donated to Children’s Mercy following the sale of the home. Paul Kempinski, President and CEO for Children’s Mercy, accepts the check for proceeds from the sale of the Home for Little Heroes from Zalman Kohen, Chief Operating Officer for Summit Homes.

Summit Technology Academy students compete nationally and medal.

This summer, three students from Summit Technology Academy competed in the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference in Louisville, KY. Connor Dalrymple, of Lee’s Summit High, competed in Internetworking and brought home a silver medal, placing second in the nation in the secondary competition.Victor Semenok and Jackson Eller, both from Lee’s Summit North, competed in cyber security.  They won bronze medals and a third place finish in the national. All three students are Cisco Certified and Victor is a Missouri Innovation Campus student in the cyber security program.
