Bothwell Lodge

The Bothwell House was built  by wealthy Sedalia lawyer John Homer Bothwell. He built atop a high bluff that looks out over Missouri Valley. The 12,000 sq.ft. home was built on natural caves so that the cool cave air could provide a type of air conditioning.
