Paradise Park Creates Cutting-Edge Tactical Laser Tag Attraction
The old fire station next to Paradise Park has been undergoing some radical transformation that will soon offer an adventurous type of “mission-based” laser tag designed to appeal to older kids (8 and up…and young-at-heart adults, of course).
Aptly named, “Operation Laser Tag,” this higher-tech type of game takes the laser tag experience to a whole new level. It offers realistic mission-based strategy and fun with a real-life, “Call of Duty-style” facility and game play.
The life-like challenges, achievements and numerous missions assigned offer a strategic challenge. Participants must complete one of many optional missions by working as a member of a squad, developing and executing a plan to meet the goals within a time limit. They employ teamwork, leadership and strategic thinking skills while building camaraderie and having fun.
Paradise Park purchased all new laser tag equipment, which elevates the experience, making it a more authentic adventure. The management team has also been highly trained, recently returning from the official operation training session directly from the equipment manufacturer.
With the opening of the new attraction, Paradise Park has created the first close-quarter, mission-based, tactical laser tag game play in the area.
“We are excited to offer this new and exciting experience,” says owner Jon Ellis. “Our vision for Paradise Park is to continue to grow and work to deliver the latest and greatest family fun within our collection of family entertainment attractions. We are also proud to be celebrating our 25th year as Lee’s Summit’s hometown-grown and locally operated family destination.”
